Люк снимался вдали от родины и Озерный город стал для него необычным домом вдали от дома. И описать его для друзей и родственников как место работы было трудно. Вот что он говорит про Озерный город:

"It reminded me slightly of what old London must have been like before the Great Fire: wooden structures with overhanging tiers so close together that the buildings on either side of the shadowy little allyes are almost touching. When the sun went down, people would close their doors and stay there untill morning. The lake is full of ice and a bitter wind sweps down from the Lounely Mountain. Everything is dark,damp and slightly dangerous. But re-creation of all this extraordinary."
 

И понравилось,как он в конце его описал, я как будто сама это почувствовала. Красиво сказал, так поэтично у него получилось:
"I'd stand in the Lake-town market square and look out at the sheets of ice and the mist of coldness rising off the water and chill would go through me even though my brain was tellin me that it wasn't real."
