Кстати, я всегда считал, исходя из текста "Законов и обычаев", что уйти в Чертоги Мандоса в невыносимой ситуации - это право эльфов, данное Эру
(там, например, указывается, что "there is no record of of any among the Elves that took another's spouse by force; for this was wholly against their nature, and one so forced would have rejected bodily life and passed to Mandos").
