Единого мнения в-общем нет но в основном источнике по этому вопросу(UT - The Silvan Elves and their speech)сказано что к Третьей эпохе он действительно вымер оставив несколько слов и акцент в речи Лориэна и эльфов Сумеречья.Если хотите - процитирую.
