I just came home from spending four and a half glorious days at Comic-Con. There was so much going on there it was almost scary! My absolute top day was Saturday when I got to meet Elijah, Dom, Andy, Sean A., Sala Baker and Richard Taylor.

I'm sorry to hear that Mary had a bad experience with Elijah, but he was wonderful to me. I was the very FIRST one through the line (there are SOME benefits to being in a wheelchair!) and I rolled by Sean A. first. I grabbed his hand and told him that I thought he was awesome, that I'd been a fan of his for years. He was very sweet and looked gorgeous, by the way. Very thin and wearing camp shorts and a tee shirt and a wonderful straw panama hat. Then I met Dom and Elijah, both of whom I'd seen earlier down on the Exhibit floor attempting to play the LOTR video game. So many people were crowding around them that they had to stop and then were followed by a huge throng of people as they walked off together. I later heard that they were asked not to go back onto the exhibit floor because of the mob!

But they were both absolutely beautiful! I think Dom is so much better looking in person. He was almost too thin, though! Such beautiful eyes! I sat there and rambled on to the two of them about how I'd had a bad year and that LOTR literally saved my life. They listened intently and were just so lovely to me. Also, while I was waiting for them to start the autograph signing, I saw Elijah turn to Dom and ask him if he had a mint. Dom said, 'do we need a mint? Is our breath bad?' and Elijah said 'yeah'. So the last thing I did when I saw them was offer them both a stick of gum! Elijah shook my hand and then just held it and when I tried to pull it away (I know, I'm an idiot!) he grabbed it back and held it a moment longer, saying he was glad to have met me and hoped to see me again. He was incredibly beautiful, with close cropped hair and THOSE EYES!!!

I had the BEST time!"
