Милая история про Доминика и маленького мальчика, который подошел к нему на С4.

When we got really close to the front, I could see through the crowd and got a direct view of Dom about six feet over to my right. He was sort of sprawled across the table, and for a second I wondered what was going on until I realized that a small boy was approaching the table and Dom was putting himself at eye-level. Now, anyone who knows me knows my weakness for children,
and at the sight of this tiny platinum-haired child and Dom in the same field of vision I nearly clutched my womb and made an "I think I've broken something" noise. Everything else around me faded for a minute until I had watched the entire interaction.

The boy was about 5 or 6, and terribly shy. He went up to Dom alone (I assume his parent/guardian was standing back with the rest of the line), and Dom instantly dropped everything to fix his full attention on the kid. I couldn't hear exactly what Dom was saying, but he had that wide-eyed look of someone who is trying very hard to make a small child feel comfortable and like they are being listened to. The boy offered up a small box, which Dom took with a smile and opened to reveal that it was full of candy. He made the exact face that Merry makes when he sees the big firework, and said, "Oh, wow, thank you, man!" as if he hadn't already received enough lollipops to last him until the end of time. He immediately took a piece out and unwrapped it, and as he put it in his mouth he offered one to the boy as well, which the child took with a small pleased smile. I promptly ovulated, and reached for my camera.
