He (DOM) also talked about the CD with Viggo and the five hours they spent in a studio fooling around, having a good time, and basically getting really drunk. He mentioned Half Fling and how, at that point in recording, he and Elijah were both drunk as monkeys as he so elegantly put it. Also, I found out that, in that song, Dom is more of the main line and the one who begins the song, while Elijah has the slightly quieter voice and finishes the song. This is just to straighten out any confusion for those who didn t know who the hell was singing what part. We tried to get Dom to speak a little of the Domlijah chipmunk language, but he politely refused, saying you kind of *have* to be drunk for it to work.
He talked about keeping in touch with the other LOTR cast members. He just saw Billy in San Diego and he spoke to Viggo (who's in Idaho) on the phone the day of our interview. Elijah's filming in Prague. Orlando's in Kentucky. So, y' know, we all stay in touch with each other even with the busy work.
Now here's some scoop for you. This New Year's Eve, Dom, Billy, Viggo, Elijah, and about 17 other people, are all getting together for a sort of reunion. They apparently have some huge house in Kauai (woo! go Hawaii!) and are just going to hang out for the holiday. That'll be exciting.
When asked about his and Billy's movie script, he said he's really excited. He and Billy are going to make a comedy that, for once, won't star Ben Stiller or Owen Wilson, who always manage to get all the good material. He confirmed that he WILL be in the movie, AND, if it works out, Elijah, Viggo, and Orlando will all make cameos (!!).
The clothing line with Elijah is going well. They have some ideas and will base it on a New York/skater type.
