Не очень понял смысл вопроса. Истиной я назвал истинное знание, которое сокрыто от более заурядных людей.
"В моём контексте" (как Вы очень точно выразились) речь шла бы о знаниях о Средиземье. Толкину удалось уловить лишь проблески этого знания (на что опять же есть цитата :-) ).
